The objective of VOICE is to speak out on behalf of the poor in developing countries.  VOICE  is parish-wide and interdenominational.  In practice we try to focus on what the major Christian agencies are campaigning about, such as the World Trade Organisation and the removal of the West's agricultural subsidies, tariff barriers and quotas.  We seek to

• learn more about the complications surrounding implementing change

• pray about the issues

• write letters and emails to EU and Government Ministers

• lobby our MP from time to time

• support local campaign events.

 VOICE meets at 4.30pm on the first Monday of every other month during the year.

We occasionally have a visiting speaker.
