"Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a person’s life does not consist in the abundance of their possessions.” (Luke 13 v.15)

How easily we can fall into the trap that objects, possessions, will give us abundant life, when it is Jesus Christ who will satisfy.

Lord Jesus, help us to rely on you for our fullness of life, Amen.

We continue to pray for all those who are bereaved. May they know God is
with them and full of love for them. We pray for all who are in hospital, awaiting operations or recuperating
at home, that God may comfort them and heal them.
